Language Barrier
On my way into the kitchen, I notice the cat casually sitting on the heating vent, staring at me. Rather than going about my business, I decide to stop in my tracks, stare him down and start making animals sounds. During this whole exchange, I notice his right ear twitch, and not much else in terms of a response. Annoyed that my efforts did nothing to unsettle the creature, I mutter under my breath, “What a stupid cat, he doesn’t understand anything.”
